Good to know

• Your room is ready from 3 pm; on the day of departure we kindly ask for the keys by 11 am.
• If you arrive late, please let us know in advance. You can reach us by phone whenever you need us.
• Here early? Early check-in from 12 noon is possible for a surcharge, subject to availability. You can leave your luggage with us at any time.
• Please arrange a later check-out with us in advance.
• No online check-in is needed. Simply arrive.
• All routes to us, ferry times and current closures are on Directions & contact.

• You get the best price by booking directly on our website.
• Our prices vary with the season and the day of the week. Midweek stays and stays of four nights or more are better value.
• With the flexible rate you can cancel free of charge up to 2 days before arrival, 3 pm.
• You pay on arrival, in cash or by card. No deposit is required for regular bookings.
• The Rüdesheim visitor's tax is €2.50 per adult guest and night. Business travellers are exempt with proof.
• Separate terms apply to groups of 5 rooms or more. Details are in our terms and conditions (in German).

• Breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking are included in the room rate.
• The main house has a lift. The guest house has no lift; its rooms are reached by the stairs.
• Whether a room has a shower or a bathtub is shown on each room's page.
• The Deluxe Double Room and the suites have a capsule coffee machine, all other rooms a kettle and tea.
• Our rooms have no air conditioning.
• For short stays we do not change the bed linen automatically, for the sake of the environment. Just let us know if you would like it changed.
• The whole house is non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on the terrace and the balconies.
• Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am, so that everyone on the Rhine sleeps well.

• The breakfast buffet is served daily from 8 to 10 am, with a view of the passing boats.
• Restaurant and terrace open Tuesday to Sunday from 2 pm, the evening menu is served from 6 to 9 pm. Monday is our day off.
• We do not offer half board. You can reserve a table on Restaurant & Terrace.
• Our wine comes from the Weingut Karl Schön next door, also to take home: Wines & prices.
• You are welcome to take your own drinks to your room.

• Children up to 2 years stay free of charge in their parents' room.
• Children aged 3 to 11: €30 per night, breakfast included. From 12 years the adult rate applies.
• For the little ones we can set up a tent with a comfortable mattress, €30 per night. This is possible in the Large Double Room, the Deluxe Double Room, the suites and the Family Room.
• A third adult in the room costs €35 per night, breakfast included.
• The Family Room offers plenty of space for everyone. The restaurant has a children's menu and high chairs.

• Quiet, well-behaved dogs are warmly welcome, €15 per dog and night, treats included.
• Please mention your dog when booking. Not every room is suitable; which ones are is explained on Quiet dogs welcome.

• Parking is free and needs no reservation: around ten spaces right at the house, and on busy days more in the car park about 150 m upstream.
• Bicycles are kept under cover and locked, motorbikes park right in front of the house.
• We do not rent out bicycles. You can hire bikes and e-bikes in Rüdesheim.

• In November we refresh the rooms. From 26 November we are back for you for the Advent weekends.
• We are here for you over Christmas and New Year's Eve, with music, the evening menu and a small firework by the river.
• After that the house rests until shortly before Easter. We are happy to give you the exact dates on request.
